The Scottsdale Jazz Festival is more than a celebration of music—it is a funding engine for music education.
Produced by the International Jazz Day AZ Foundation, the festival generates resources that are reinvested directly to support music teachers and student programs, especially in communities affected by school closures and budget cuts.
Through ticket sales, sponsorships, and community partnerships, the festival allows us to:
- Provide paid after-school teaching opportunities for music educators
- Support teachers whose programs were reduced or eliminated
- Keep students connected to music when schools cannot offer it
- Reduce reliance on grants by creating sustainable, earned revenue
By turning culture into action, the Scottsdale Jazz Festival ensures that jazz doesn’t end on stage—it continues in classrooms, community spaces, and students’ lives.
